This policy explains what authenticity-related features on All the Rage mean and do not mean. Read it before buying, selling, or relying on any certificate, verification badge, or NFC tag.
All the Rage offers optional authenticity tools, including:
| Feature | What it is |
|---|---|
| Certificate of Authenticity (COA) | A platform and/or on-chain record linking a piece to a creator, edition, and ownership history |
| NFC tag verification | A physical tag you can tap with a phone to open a verification page for a piece |
| Platform ownership records | Database records of sales, transfers, and provenance on All the Rage |
| "Verified" / "Certified" labels | Visual indicators tied to specific criteria below |
| Collector-added collection items | Pieces a collector manually catalogs (off-platform acquisitions) |
| Fashion "authenticated vintage" | Seller-attested vintage claims with optional verification steps |
Crypto/NFT features are optional. Buying and selling on All the Rage does not require a cryptocurrency wallet.
When a piece has an active All the Rage Certificate (including off-chain mirror and/or optional on-chain record):
✅ The platform records indicate:
✅ NFC tags programmed by the platform link to a verification URL for that piece's record.
Certificates and verification tools do not:
❌ Constitute a professional appraisal of fair market value
❌ Guarantee physical condition, authenticity of materials, or age unless separately described by the seller and independently verifiable
❌ Prove legal title to physical property beyond platform transaction records
❌ Prevent counterfeiting of physical objects or NFC tags outside our control
❌ Ensure a creator will remain active on the platform
❌ Bind future owners to resell only on All the Rage (physical goods can change hands offline; royalty enforcement applies to on-platform resales as disclosed)
❌ Replace independent due diligence for high-value purchases
On-chain records may be public and permanent on third-party networks. They reflect data submitted at mint time; errors in metadata are the responsibility of the submitting party.
A piece is certified on All the Rage when the creator (or authorized party) has completed the certification flow and an active certificate record exists. This means the platform attests to record integrity on our systems, not independent forensic authentication of the physical object.
Verified badges (e.g., studio verification, identity verification if offered) mean we have completed the specific verification steps disclosed at the time of verification. Verification levels may differ; check the profile for details.
Indicates the seller has labeled the item as vintage/authenticated under their listing. Unless a separate third-party authentication service is explicitly cited in the listing, this is seller representation, not independent authentication.
Collectors may add pieces they own that were not purchased through All the Rage (off-platform art, gifts, prior collections). These items:
Owners with a valid certificate may transfer ownership through platform tools. Gifts may not incur sale royalties. Sales (including off-platform sales recorded on-platform) may incur configured royalties and platform fees.
If you believe a certificate, listing, or tag is fraudulent:
We do not guarantee recovery of funds for off-platform transactions.
Creators certifying work represent that:
False certification may result in content removal, payout holds, and account termination.
We may update authenticity features and this policy. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date.
